It's hard to believe that summer's end is not that far away! At Proj-X, we've been hard at work putting together custom trade show stands, conference booths, marketing activations and more.
For our exhibition designers and producers, there's nothing quite like seeing an idea transform into reality, and the teams have already delivered some pretty cool displays this season.
Here's a sampling of the projects we're particularly excited about delivering:
Sleek displays for AIME industry leaders
With the Asia-Pacific Incentives and Meetings Expo finished for another year, it's time to review our successful projects. This year, we assisted Voyages, Altogether Perfect, One and Only Hayman Island and Signal Events.
Like other exhibitions, this one requires just the right space for attendees to stop by and talk with representatives. From eye-catching red chairs to elegant bamboo accents, each display portrays a unique brand personality.
For Sharpie's brand activation campaign, marketing consultant firm Yakusan commissioned us to help with the design, project management, construction and installation.
The purpose? Get Sharpies into people's hands! We put up four sets of 5-by-3-metre custom exhibit stands to serve as "inspiration stations" across Australia and New Zealand. People could stop by to get creative and make a work of art with the whole spectrum of Sharpie colours.
Over 1,766 people sat down to participate over the course of three days in three states, with some sharing their creations and experience on social media channels.

Lindt at the Australian Open and beyond
If you attended the Australian Open, you might have come across the Lindt Chocolate Cafe stand, one of our sweetest kiosk designs to date. We're helping them roll out similar stands at multiple locations throughout the country – because there's no such thing as too much chocolate.
While representing Lindt's recognisable brand image, the kiosks give the company an opportunity to take their chocolate treats and beverages to the masses, who are rarely opposed to a bit of indulgence.
Visa Travel Everywhere
Meant to align with the Chinese New Year celebration, Visa's marketing activation has already captured attention in Australia and earned the company a place in some of the locals' hearts.
The "travel everywhere" concept, designed by marketing agency Traffik, aimed to empower Chinese Mainland Visa cardholders to see more of Australia by giving them access to bicycles. Traffik commissioned us to convert two shipping containers to mobile bike hire shops, one for Fed square in Melbourne and the other in Centennial Park in Sydney.
Even though the campaign was directed at visitors from China, some observers saw it as a broader gesture for supporting healthy lifestyles.
Australian International Airshow
A highlight for the industry, the Australian International Airshow took place February 24 to March 1 in Avalon. Aviation leaders and personalities like TV sports commentator Mark Baretta are already looking forward to what's sure to be a fascinating event.

This year, we're excited to have served as an official supplier for the show, and we built custom exhibition stands for a number of participants.
If you attended the trade show, we hope you stopped by the Airbus Group, DB Schenker and Churchill Navigation to see what we worked on. This is always a big show packed with interesting displays showcasing the leading ideas and products in the field.
In the past, our displays have incorporated impressive multi-media displays, tablets to browse and even model airplanes. This year was no different, so keep an eye out for new galleries in our portfolio to see the results.
